Founded in 1986 by Chef Jon Kasky, Paradise Catering was born from a simple idea:
CREATING unforgettable culinary experiences ROOTED IN THE WARMTH AND BEAUTY OF CARMEL VALLEY.
Alongside his talented partner, Nancy Rohan, Chef Jon spent more than three decades building the Paradise name, one known for gracious hospitality, fresh seasonal ingredients, and menus that celebrate the spirit of California cuisine.
Over the years, the Paradise family continued to grow. More than a decade ago, Gabe Villagrana joined the team, bringing his exceptional talent to the grill and leading the heart of the kitchen with skill and consistency. Corine Hanamaikai later joined as Banquet Manager, expertly orchestrating service, staffing, and event logistics with care and precision.
In 2026, Paradise Catering entered a new chapter under the ownership of Heidi Sebok, who remains deeply committed to honoring the company’s legacy while thoughtfully evolving its future. With a shared passion for hospitality, Heidi continues Paradise’s dedication to locally sourced ingredients, live-fire cooking, and elevated guest experiences that feel both refined and welcoming.
Paradise Catering has become synonymous with the very best of California cuisine: relaxed yet polished, seasonal yet timeless, and always centered around bringing people together.
Today, Paradise Catering proudly serves couples, families, businesses and organizations throughout Carmel Valley, Carmel, Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, and the surrounding Central Coast communities.

Heidi Sebok
With more than 30 years of hospitality experience, Heidi Sebok has built her career around creating exceptional guest experiences. She began in restaurants and spent 7 years working her way up through the kitchen, and then in hotel food and beverage management, where she developed a deep appreciation for hospitality, service, and the behind-the-scenes operations that make memorable events possible.
After launching Coastside Couture in 2010, Heidi spent the next 16 years producing and designing hundreds of luxury weddings and celebrations throughout the Monterey Peninsula. Her experience as both a planner and hospitality professional gives her a unique perspective on how exceptional food, seamless service, and thoughtful details come together to create unforgettable events.
In 2026, Heidi became the owner of Paradise Catering, bringing her passion for hospitality full circle. Today, she leads the Paradise team with a focus on seasonal California cuisine, locally sourced ingredients, warm hospitality, and personalized service for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across the Central Coast.
Outside of work, Heidi can often be found exploring the Monterey Peninsula, hiking Carmel Valley, traveling to Cabo, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or spending time with her husband, Brook, their children, and her beloved rescue pup, Biscuit.
Gabriel Villagrana

Born and raised in Monterey County, Chef Gabe Villagrana's roots run deep in Carmel Valley. His parents immigrated from Jalisco, Mexico, where they built their lives and raised their family, instilling in Gabe a love of hard work, hospitality, and bringing people together around the table.
As the oldest of four siblings, Gabe learned to cook alongside his mother long before his younger sister was born. She always joked that she wanted her sons to know how to cook "just in case they didn't find someone to cook for them!" What began as family tradition quickly became a lifelong passion. He also spent countless hours working alongside his father, learning landscaping and the value of dedication, craftsmanship, and pride in every job.
With more than 15 years of professional culinary experience, Gabe has built an impressive career leading kitchens throughout the Monterey Peninsula before joining Paradise Catering. Today, he brings his passion for fresh ingredients, thoughtful menus, and exceptional hospitality to every event, creating memorable meals that celebrate both California's bounty and the traditions that first inspired him to cook.

A Monterey County native, Corine Graham-Hanamaikai comes from a family with deep local roots dating back to the 1950s. Before joining Paradise Catering in June 2011, she built her career in banking and customer service with both Bank of America and Monterey County Bank, where she developed a passion for creating exceptional client experiences and managing day-to-day operations with care and precision.
Today, Corine brings that same dedication to every event she oversees. As Catering Manager, she is known for her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to making every client feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. Whether she's coordinating logistics behind the scenes or guiding clients through the planning process, her goal is always the same: to ensure every celebration is seamless, memorable, and exceeds expectations.
Outside of Paradise, Corine's greatest joy is spending time with her family. She loves creating meaningful experiences for her children through travel, with favorite destinations including Maui and Disneyland. For Corine, it's all about making lasting memories—a philosophy she brings to both her family life and every event she helps create.
